The Queensland government has postponed the suspension of Star Gold Coast’s casino licence by six months, extending it until 30 September 2025
This delay also maintains the appointment of a Special Manager overseeing the casino, allowing Star more time to implement remediation measures.
Attorney-General Deb Frecklington highlighted that the extension aims to maintain public trust while monitoring Star’s compliance with remediation commitments.
